This is a delicious sauce for pasta.
Ingredients
- 1-2 medium red bell peppers
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cup of cashews
- 2T raw tahini
- 6-8T nutritional yeast (non-fortified)
- 1.5-2 tsp himalayan sea salt
- small white onion
- 2-3 small cloves of garlic
- 4T lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Put all ingredients straight into a high powered blender (such as a Vitamix) and blend until smooth. Blend longer for a thicker sauce.
